Step up for CL
Give the CLK logo a permanent home
The Governor of the State of Connecticut determined that overnight camps cannot open this Summer. As a result, for the first time in its 83 year history, there will be no Camp Laurelwood summer. Seriously. Can you even imagine what that would have been like while we were there? As an alum and a parent with kids who attend CL, this was devastating news.
To remember this unfortunate and historic cancellation, some of us have spoken and decided to try to use this opportunity to have a plaque dedicated and hung over the double doors that enter the CLK. It only seems right that this symbolic doorway becomes forever emblazoned with the logo that means so much to so many people:
To make this a reality, we are undertaking a fundraiser for the benefit of the future of Camp Laurelwood. No matter how long it has been since we were last together at CL, we hope that you still feel that same bond to CL and the CLK and that your experiences and memories from our time there remain strong. Please join us in making our logo forever part of CLK history.
