All Together Now Laurelwood
Help me support a place that means so much to me!
This photo taken July 1, 1969 with my brother Brian (Dino) was the start of my story with Camp Laurelwood. Fifty-one years later Camp Laurelwood remains one of my true life passions. Now, as the oldest 'active' Board member, it is important to me to see that the alumni stay joined and active with the Laurelwood Community. And, now in this COVID-19 year of 2020, despite all the preparations and measures taken to insure all social distancing and safety requirements were in place for our 83rd summer season, the decisions made by the State of CT will not allow Camp to open. I know there are so many in need of assistance to recover from the physical, mental and monetary repercussions of this pandemic. However, I am asking all of my friends and family, those that have a current or past relationship with Camp, and those who have not, to help us make sure that Camp can survive to be able to open for the Summer of 2021. Camp Laurelwood is so important and has provided so much for so many for the past 82 years. WE need your help to insure that the young and future generations will have Camp Laurelwood to become part of the fabric of their lives, STARTING NEXT YEAR 2021 AND IN THE YEARS TO COME. Thank you for your assistance. And, all contributions made now will be matched dollar for dollar by a benefactor.
